Emmy May is the owner and principal designer at Emmy May Design & Construction Management, LLC. A graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Bachelor’s degree in Art with an emphasis in Painting. Emmy is a Licensed General Contractor that specializes in the Renovation, Restoration & Preservation of Residential Architecture.
Emmy has 26 years of experience designing, building & managing Residential Construction projects in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama & Florida. Her work has earned her two Historic Preservation Awards in the Belhaven Historic District in Jackson, Mississippi along with numerous Magazine Features, including Winner in Mississippi Magazine “Sensational Spaces” Edition.
Emmy has recently moved her company to Fairhope, Alabama to further her business growth.
Her duties include Budget Management, material pricing, communication with vendors, subcontractors & clients regarding scheduling & budgets. Emmy will keep a weekly log of the progress made insuring that materials purchased, building practices & expenditures align with the owner’s expectations.
Emmy’s education & experience make her a valuable asset as she will be working closely with the Architects, Engineers, Sub-Contractors & Owner’s throughout the project.
